So I was thinking that my character grew up in one of the remote settlements of Raptorans/Maenads which are rebelling against the Arcane Order. He’s spent all his life training to fight against the order and its minions, mostly in small skirmishes. He’s been brought up on embellished stories about the horror that is the Arcane Order. Recently, upon having gained the ability to fly, he was picked to participate in a large raid on Order territory. During the raid, something goes terribly awry. He witnesses some type of atrocity committed by his own compatriots in the raid against the citizens of the order, like a My Lai or Wounded Knee moment. He’s left with all sorts of misgivings and doubt about the stories he’s been told and the lessons he’s been taught. He leaves the Stand and his people, committed to finding his own truth. It’s at some point shortly after where he meets the rest of the PCs at _________. In some ways he’s a lost soul, looking to figure out the way the world really works, and what his place in it is.
